Quick Start#

On first launch, ExtraBar opens an onboarding window that helps you pick your apps, style your bar, and choose a bar position. You can skip it and set everything up manually with the steps below.

Create your first action#

  1. Open ExtraBar in your menu bar
  2. Click Manage on the preset you want to use (Use the default to get started)
  3. Click + Add and choose "Add Apps or Folders"
  4. Choose an Application
  5. Click on the App Settings icon (⚙)
  6. Click + Add and choose an action

Some actions (for example deep links) require further customization. See Deep Links section for guidance.
